Both are a set of boards and sensors that allow a developer to program for external interactions. Very cool stuff with seemingly limitless possibilities.
Ben Fry, co-creator of Processing, announced today that he has a new company, Fathom. Along with Teri Schindler, Chris Brown, and Lynn Kiang, the group will focus on data visualization. “Fathom Information Design helps clients understand complex data through information graphics, interactive tools, and software for the installations, the web and mobile devices,” the website states.
