Josef Albers, Bundled, Processing with Variations
Ran across some work from Josef Albers yesterday on the Tate Modern site ( http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/albersmoholy/rooms/room4works.shtm ). I have always loved Josef’s work Bundled from 1925, which is featured on the TM site. So, I decided to reproduce the piece with code in Processing.
On the left, you see the original piece. On the right, the reproduction as generated by Processing. Below, are random variations created by switching set variables with random variables and letting Processing do the rest.
